20 Stylish dog beds

Who doesn’t want the best for their pup? And if you’re like me, you’d want the dog bed(s) to blend in with your interior. We have two dog beds at home, so Bonnie, my gorgeous Cavapoo, can chose where she wants to sleep / rest / chill out / observe. Spoiler alert: During the day she mainly lies on our bed – which is very comfy and has a great view. I have picked 20 stylish dog beds to inspire you to upgrade your dog’s sleep and relax zone.

An important decision – besides style – would be what kind of bed your four-legged friend prefers. Bonnie likes resting her head elevated so she needs a bolster bed. Does your dog need spinal support? Go for an orthopaedic dog bed. Some dogs prefers thin matts, some a pouf, some want to covered with a blanket, some lie on the floor, some like “regular” dog beds. Important is not to hide your dog bed(s). They should just not just be practical but can also be a stunning piece of furniture.

1. Minimalist dog beds

This gorgeous dog bed by Crate and Barrel is perfect for a minimalist home (they do not ship worldwide).

Mia Cara also has beautiful and minimalist designs, like this Covo dog bed. They are on the pricey-er side but if you feel like splurging, go for it. Another favourite of mine is the Barca model.

Cloud7 are really to dream about – they have a vast selection of beds for your furry friend: orthopaedic (with and without bolster), round dog beds, dog pillows and baskets, with plenty of design options too.

3. Sleeping bag for your dog

This snuggle bed by Charley Chau can also be used for travels. It is available in three sizes and many colours and has the option of a waterproof liner. I could imagine a snuggle in one of those.

4. Removable head rest dog bed

If you are not a fan of the classic dog bed with a bolster, here is another option: a memory foam mattress with a removable head rest, found on etsy – and oh so pretty.

5. Outdoor is optional

This great Laboni bed can be used in- as well as outdoors.

6. Glam dog bed

Need to glam up your abode? This gorgeous velvet rose dog bed by Laboni could be just the right addition for you and your pup!

You want your pouch to have a high craftsmanship, high quality sofa, maybe even a leather sofa dog bed? This one by etsy could be the one.

9. Show your stripes

This preppy dog bed by 2.8 design for dogs made of recycled wool is just fabulous. The filling is made of anti-parasitic material, and the coated bottom layer prevents the bed from skippering while protecting the floor. This dog bed comes in four sizes and is quite high in price.

10. Boho dog bed

You have a boho designed space? This Oyoy Living Design dog bed made of rattan and this sea grass dog bed by Zara Home are great options. If you prefer something plush, Anne Digs makes perfect dog pillows.

11. Artsy home

Want to swap your puppy’s bed to a piece of art? Check out PROBA Home’s dog beds’. The one pictured is the “Paw-fect” bed. I am also in awe of the “Cloud” bed. Certainly not one to hide!

12. Crazy about your dog?

Did you ever wonder how it would be to share your bed with your dog(s) without actually sharing your bed with your dog(s). This custom-made solution may be the answer to your questions. I am certainly loving the idea – although Bonnie is actually allowed in bed with us.

13. On the road with your dog

Going away with your fur baby? The nicest way for your dog to travel (in style) is a sofa-bed in the car. The sofa-bed is secured with straps and the bed has a seat belt (use a harness for car rides, much safer than collars). The car dog bed pictured can be enlarged by opening the front so can easily be used as a bed whilst travelling with your dog.

One of my two dog beds is a “normal” dog bed, bought on Amazon and Bonnie loves it. It’s donut shaped and fluffy and incredibly good value for money (I paid less than €25 for mine). It comes in a variety of sizes and colours, is washable, dries fast – it just works and also looks the part.
